Metabolic Health System
Designed for products that work with the body's metabolism.
The Metabolic Health System combines four standardised botanical actives, each targeting a specific arm of metabolic balance — fat-synthesis pathways, glucose handling, appetite signalling, and metabolic energy regulation. Built for product developers in weight management, glycaemic support, and metabolic-wellness categories.
Application focus
Designed to support formulation ofproducts targeting lipid metabolism, glucose handling, weight management, and appetite-regulating pathways.
Compatible formats
Capsules and tablets, powder blends and
sachets, functional beverages and RTD,
gummies and chewables.
Customisation
Grade selection based on application and
price tier
Ingredient combination frameworks adjusted
for desired positioning
Adaptation across delivery formats
Alignment with regulatory requirements in
target export markets
Ingredient framework
Garcinia cambogia Extract — HCA Calcium Salt
Standardised to 40% / 50% / 60% HCA. Calcium-salt form selected for stability and bioavailability. Acts via ATP-citrate lyase inhibition, the rate-limiting step in de novo lipogenesis, with secondary serotonin-mediated appetite signalling.
Gymnema sylvestre Extract
Standardised to gymnemic acids (25% / 75%). Sweet-taste-receptor blockade plus pancreatic-pathway support — a dual-axis approach to cravings and glycaemic control.
Green Coffee Bean Extract
Standardised to chlorogenic acids (40% / 50%). AMPK-pathway activator with established cardiometabolic and glucose-handling profile.
Moringa Leaf Extract
Multi-pathway active. Nrf2 activator, micronutrient-dense, broadly compatible across formats and matrices.
How the system works together
The four actives cover distinct, complementary arms of metabolic regulation. Garcinia
attenuates fat synthesis at the citrate-lyase step. Green Coffee improves glucose handling and shifts fuel preference toward fat oxidation via AMPK. Gymnema acts at the sweet-taste
receptor and supports pancreatic function. Moringa underwrites the antioxidant and
micronutrient profile that flanks all metabolic work.
Reference framework
Inclusion levels are formulation-dependent and may vary based on target application,
positioning, and regulatory requirements. Standardization level, ingredient ratios, and format are designed to be aligned with the specific product brief. Final formulation design is validated by the product developer.
Important note:
This system provides a formulation framework for product development purposes. Final formulation design, dosage, and product claims are the responsibility of the finished-product manufacturer.
